Peer came to life when former Salesforce COO George Hu approached us with a new vision for professional feedback. He saw that most large companies used quarterly or 360 reviews, which can be irregular, inefficient, and notoriously anxiety-inducing.
We threw out any assumptions and dug in – examining what works and what leaves people scratching their heads. Employers were often unaware that a critical team member had one foot out the door, while employees craved more continuous, concrete feedback on their work. No one was satisfied with the status quo.
